What is Awakening?
Being awake is the result of having removed all the blocks that prevent the experience of the Presence of God. These blocks are our unconscious defense mechanisms, perceptions, stories, resentments, attachments and aversions. We refer to those blocks as the ego. As the ego is progressively released, it is as if the clouds begin to part and we feel Divinity warm us from the inside out, like the radiance of the sun warms us. We no longer see this as a concept, but subjective reality in our lives. The more ego we let go the happier we become, as more divine love and peace flow to and through us. As Jesus shared, God is always here in the inner Kingdom. The pathway we practice is completely letting go of the ego until there are no more clouds blocking the experience of the Presence of God.
